I am in the midst of a writing project on the life and times of former notable reptile dealers. As such, I am contacting various people who have been in the field for a while and have been told some great stories from the likes of Jim Murphy, Max Nickerson, Craig Trumbower etc. I am currently trying to find out a little bit about Aldo Passera and his store Fang & Claw in NYC. I've talked to Gerry Salmon a little about Aldo, but wanted to contact someone else who may have known him.

My project stems from a life long fascination with reptiles beginning in south Florida, where I had the chance to visit various dealers like Bill Chase and The Shed in Miami in the 60s -70s. Eventually this led to work at both the San Antonio and Dallas Zoo reptile departments.

Is there a possibility in briefly talking to you about Aldo as well as other reptile dealers you may have known or dealt with in the past?

Any help would be appreciated.
