    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    Wanted Texas Alligator Lizard (Gherronotus infernalis)

    I am keeping them also. They are one of the most amazing species of lizard imo. I can just reach in and pick them up even though I've done zero to try to tame them (honestly I only handle herps infrequently). It would be great to see more people working with them. They remind me of Abronia but...

    Breeding Ornate Flying Snakes

    I am pretty sure they will eventually breed with no special manipulation as I recall seeing some posts of people breeding them successfully in the past and my general experience with WC asian colubrid species if they eventually breed in captivity with no special conditions but take 18-24 months...

    Breeding Ornate Flying Snakes

    They don't always come in. I've seen some around recently. Would be good to have someone breed them state side. From talking to other people they are easier to establish on and do better on rodents than paradise flyers.

    For Sale Fire belly toads and blue tail fire belly newts

    Trying not to derail the guys ad but if you release non-native species into an outdoor pond you may very well be breeding and or causing a species to escape and spread into the wild harming native species. If raising herps outdoors you'd really need to be very escape proof and consider anything...

    For Sale CB2024 Arboreal Salamander (aneides lugubris)

    I just got a few of these and they are amazing. They run down the food and grab it by shooting their tongues out, that's just a couple hours after unboxing them. if you don't get these and you're into salamanders, you're crazy imo. Most fun I've had in years watching them eat this afternoon.
