    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys check this out. Terry must think i'm stupid. Terry I work in the computer field with multiple certifications in security and networking. He opened up yet another yahoo email account and has sent me this email today. Check the IP address it is the same as his. Terry you need to grow up.

Well Terry your shooting yourself in the foot over 65 bucks. Everything in this thread points to very poor customer service by you and some real rudeness(to put it nicely) to your customers. Maybe you need to calm down and read this whole thread as if it didn't involve you. Read it and tell us you'd want to do business with this Terry guy.

Now think of all the people who may read this thread and see your words and the proof of how you treat those you sell to. As has been said here in one way or another many times it's how you deal with a sale when it goes bad that shows your real charactor. You may not think this thread will hurt you and you will be wrong. Heck in a few days just a search using your name will bring up this thread. The longer you draw it out the worse it will be. So apologise to Don give him his money ASAP and salvage some of your reputation while there is still some of it left. Take a look at how many have already viewed this thread and know that most if not all so far have a poor opinion of you. Randy
 
Randy, I tried to play mediator here and was sitting in the middle,Hoping to get them to work this out , I asked them to send E-mails to back up their claims ......Don sent his with in 2 mins of me sending my e-mail address :hurray: Terry said he would send his proving Don threatened him, and he(Terry) was still here for a bit,So now I'm afraid that if I do get them they will be altered, I'm funny that way if something isn't here in a timely fashion there's something wrong. Terry I really did want to think that this was nothing more then a misunderstanding, and tried to stay nuetral but I'm affaid that I may be heading over to Don's Camp, Terry I wanted to belive you were a "Man of your word" But once again I was proved wrong.... Don I am truly sorry this happened, and I hope somewhere down the road this gets resolved... I really don't see it happening but you can hope :rofl: Good luck.

It was shipped express, but as it says on their website: Express mail is a gamble whether or not it will overnight. "Overnight to most areas" That to me is as bad as shipping it Priority Mail and hoping they get there alive. Assuming something will be overnighted, with USPS, from KS to NJ is just ignorant and stupid. Also, The tracking number says Terry dropped it off at noon. Why? I always schedule UPS to come and pick my package up at 6-7pm and I personally know most the guys that work down there, so they will come as late as they can!

I doubt this will do any good to this thread, though. :slamit:
 
Sara, Of course it does :) It only proves if it is alive "don't send it through the U.S Mail, they may raise their prices but not their reliability on deliveries :rofl: Like I have said above "When shipping animals they need to be there the very next day" so pay the extra couple of dollars and ship U.P.S DHL or FedEx or even Delta..Its animal safety first, Customer satisfaction second.

Bob, I would tent to agree!! I do not think we are the only ones. He could make this right now, but that is up to him.

Terry, if you want to save any part of your reputation, give him his full refund. That way people that are, and will see this thread can see that you made this right. Do you know how many people see this thread in one day, or how many will see this? If you want to continue to sell, then make this right.

Do you really think $65.00 is worth loosing your reputation over?

Update

For what ever this is worth, I just got off the phone with Terry, and he stated as he did above, that he will be sending Don the gecko in 2 weeks.He gave me his word and he agrees this whole thing just got out of hand. So Don I guess all there is to do now is wait the 2 weeks and he makes this right, My opinion he will.
 
Thanks Bill for trying to help, but the fact remains that I did not pay for an unsexed hatchling. After all I've been through with him I honestly dont even want him to have my address. If he wants to make this right he can pay me back what I paid for the v-nigra. $65

Yes Bill I did and that was before things got heated up. I'm being honest I have a small baby and I just dont want him to have my address after some of the things he said. I repeat if he wants to make this right all he has to do is give me back my money for the DOA. Afterall he made $6000 last week.

I just wanted to publicly thank you for all that you have done and taking the time to try and fix this situation. I guess the only thing I can do is swallow my pride and reveal the real reason I cannot give Don his money. I just recently purchased an order of geckos and It has left me short in the money department. I apoligize for not revealing this earlier, but It is not easy for a person like me to be humble to a person who has angered me beyond belief.

Don, I can send you a very nice V-nigra in a couple of weeks. That is all I am capable of doing at this point. I make MANY sacrifices to obtain the geckos I have including the monitary ones. Also, I want to apoligize for harrasing you. I did it out of anger and I have no excuse other than I am much like you and have a temper. I hope we can put this behind us.

I am glad it is working out between these two. But Terri will remain on my "do not buy from" list simply due to his behavior. Stepping up to the plate and doing what he should have done to begin with does not give him a "get out of jail" card for his prior acts. Just not good business.

Bob, I do agree with what you are saying, at this time I'm sure alot of people feel the same way, But only time will tell if Terry changes his attitude towards his customers, I would buy from him but he does the legged creatures I'm a boa person :rofl: But I do see what you are saying though, People who have hot heads need to take a step back and see how they look in other peoples eyes, Only time will tell.
