So...I am working on a project that involves some back story.
I bought my first NERD line lemon pastel years back from Tony Hurt at Snakeevolutions.
Bred him to some female normals, sold all the babies like an idiot...
this is him. (Traded years ago)
A few years back I got this "normal" female for free. Bred her a few times to the pastel, sold all the babies, eventually sold her. Wasn't really vigilant of things...so never noticed anything about her.
A few years back I managed to get one of the female pastels I sold back. By no means is she anything amazing.
But her babies!
This is a pewter from her.

And a firefly from her last season (that I lost to RI this year...grrrr)
a weird orangey ball that came out of the firefly clutch, but passed away a few days after.
A friend of mine bought the brother to the pewter above and bred him this season. He produced a super pastel (bred him to a pastel) male that he is sending me to breed back to my pastel.
This is him.
And now this season I hatched 4 fireflies. Two are amazing and two are nicer than average. Same pairing as last season.
Male holdback
Female holdback
That white spot is not flash wash. It's actually there.
I can't wait to breed that super pastel back to my pastel to see what happens. I want to see what kind of super pastels she throws!
Opinions on that "normal"?
