Gas lines do like to freeze and bust in the winter and Elyria is pretty far north in OH. I'm sure that's what will be the cause of that Minneapolis explosion that happened yesterday. If it was in the area I live though, I'd automatically assume meth! lol

I wonder if house explosions are handled like trees and fires. If a neighbor's tree falls on your property, your insurance has to cover it. If the neighbor's house burns down and melts all the siding off of your house, your insurance has to cover that as well. That's always bugged me.

I believe your insurance takes care of you then they in turn negotiate with the other insurance co. In less of course there is no other insurance. My wife has been in 3 no fault accidents with uninsured. Our insurance co sued them. Doubt they see any money but possible I suppose.

A acquaintance of the my family has a strong love for cars & motorcycles decided after work to tinker in his garage on his motorcycle a little. He spent a lot of time in there & it was extremely cold out so he used a propane heater to keep it warm. Something went wrong with it & instantly everything went straight up in flames. He suffered some bad really burns trying to get his elderly mother he care for out of the house but was unsuccessful. The scene didn't look as much like explosion as what is posted here but it was pretty bad.
