I thought the story was very funny. As for the name I worked at a place in Austin Texas that had a manager by the name Richard Seman. The name on the door was Dick Seman. Last name may have been spelled Seamen. And that is the trueth. Never talked to the man personally but his employees said he had a good sense of humor.

I google'd "richard scratcher" and there actually is a "Sir Richard Scratcher" in the UK...lol.
