Cryptosporidium

I'm a researcher at Kansas State University and frequently work with Cryptosporidium. Recently, we've developed some new techniques to culture mammalian Cryptospordium in vitro and want to try the same with Cryptosporidium serpentis. If one or two of you with snakes that have received a positive diagnosis with this parasite (esp cornsnakes, which seem to be highly susceptible), and your animal is of significant size so that a fair sample can be obtained, AND live in the U.S., I would be interested in acquiring regurgitate and/or feces so that we here might isolate the parasite. You may contact me at coccidia@ksu.edu (http://www.ksu.edu/parasitology/). Many thanks.
