I had a absolute blast at the reptile show. Yes I was only there on sunday, and I attempted to find the venders that said "Stop and say hi" but had a bit of trouble figuring out the table layout. Despite that, I did get to meet several people, and came home with some suplies and NO reptiles, but a pair of the african pygmy mice. Couldn't resist the little buggers tooo darned cute.
I have to say that I have NEVER been run into, run over, stepped on, banged into, knocked sideways as much as at this show. At one point I got slammed into by two diferent kids in only a 10 foot area. Was beginning to think that a good elbow to a face or two might get my point across. But then I have a personal space issue too.
Being hard of hearing I had to go "Pardon? What? I'm sorry?" Over and over, as it was loud, but no one seemed to mind repeating things. I saw a huge blue tegu for sale, but he was mean. Some Gorgeous baby blue tegus, but I didn't have the money yet for them anyway, and scores and scores of ball pythons and toads and everything to drool over!
Micheal Cole and Neil Golli had a great table set up with some truely drool-worthy snakes there.
Everyone's table seemed to be filled with wonderful things to gawk at. The huge rhino iguana was terribly impressive too, and I was tempted by several blackthroats, but I don't have the outdoor pen ready yet.
