Back from Hamburg

Yup, I opted to go...and somewhat regretted it (no fault of the show). With all traffic issues and road work, it took me just over an hour longer than usual to get there (at least the 5 mile long parking lot called Rt 78 east was cleared by the time I got there on the way back). I walked in the door at 3:05, the show was scheduled to end at 4.
I did the quick walk through, pausing only long enough to look at a few things of interest (critters and people, lol). For the most part, I didn't even notice the vendors or passers-by, though. I was out the door by 3:50. I went hoping to find 2 things, and wanting to look at something else that was supposed to be there. The thing I wanted/needed the most, I didn't see...doesn't matter, I had already ordered it - I just don't want to wait for it to get here, lol.

See Sound Off for a little story from the show.

I also went, planning on getting one or a pair of bloods and checking into some rainbow boas, but instead my wife bought three geckos, and I bought some frozen feeders only to realize that I didn't bring anything to put them in so they wouldn't thaw on the two and half hour trip back. So we ended up leaving the show and running around trying to find a place to buy a cooler and ice, which we did after about half an hour.

There were a number of bloods there...not what I was shopping for, so I didn't pay too much attention...until I saw the albinos

Yea there were several bloods there and I also saw the albinos. But once we bought the geckos and quite a few feeders(feeding a albino burmese, albino boa, two jungle carpets and a Jaya) I decided that I wanted to save up and get a male albino boa, to eventually breed with my female. I thought I'd pass on the bloods and rainbows, for now at least.
Don't suppose that anyone knows of anyone that has an 06' male albino boa for a decent price?

Harald,

Please forget my e-mail I just learned that you are back from the show. Is it just a one day deal? Did you see any pieds for sale?

Thanks,

Dan

Too late, Dan, I saw the email with your name on it and addressed that first. I honestly pretty much did the mad dash through the place and had my eyes programmed for the few things I was looking for...anything else got blocked by my filters, lol. I think I saw at least one pied, but I wouldn't swear to it, nor could I guess at who had it (for the most part, my eyes were glued to the animals as I fastwalked the aisles)
