Jessica,

You are relatively new to this site, welcome! What you are proposing is something important and I applaud you for your intitiative. On the other hand if you want people to take you seriously (including those you are about to teach), I would strongly encourage you to change the name of your e-mail account.

Regards,

You said: "i am looking to start an educational reptile show...i am looking for tame animals that would make a good impression!". The animals will make a good impression but make sure you do too! Just a friendly advise from an old timer.

Best of lucks!

Jessica, I have also decided to start an education reptile show with a few buddies of mine. Our collection consists of 2 savannah monitors, a black throat monitor, mangrove monitor, green anaconda, albino burmese python, mali uromastyx, green iguana, ball python, bearded dragon, 2 argentinean tegus and a common snapping turtle. I do not know your experience with reptiles but most of these animals tend to be more aggressive but with constant handling they are all pretty tame with the exception of the burmese. I think some good starting reptiles would be in the range of the bearded dragons, uromastyx or even leopard geckos. Some docile snakes would be ball pythons and childrens pythons along with most kingsnakes.

thanks for the advice ...you have quite a collection... my collection consists of a hogg island boa, a cornsnake, an argentine tegu, a leopard gecko, and a leopard toad....

i tend to research animals a lot before i get one...just to make sure i will be able to handle it... all of my animals are docile, i handle them pretty often...

thanks
