Ever heard of this? Is it even legal?

Found this site called Downloadable Software, and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of them, or if this is even legal??

Some of the offers just seem a little to good to be true. Like $4,000 AutoCad for under $200, Adobe Acrobat for $70. I don't know........Some really awesome deals if it is a legal sale.

What do ya'll think?

I'm thinking they are not legit.
The ridiculous pricing aside, if you do a google search on oemvlesu,
you'll get multiple results that state that they are blacklisted by various spam blocking services.

These are certainly red flags to me...

2.3. You cannot register the software with the manufacturer and updates are available not for all the products;

2.7. If you purchase any of the products listed below you confirm that you already have or going to purchase or obtain in any other way CD burning software which support the function of creating image disks.
2.7.1. The list of the products that should be burned before installation:
2.7.2.1. MS Windows 2000 Professional - Full Version
2.7.2.2. MS Windows 2000 Server - Full Version
2.7.2.3. MS Windows 2003 Enterprise Server - Full Version
2.7.2.4. MS Windows XP Professional - Full Version
2.7.2.5. Microsoft Windows Longhorn pre-released Evaluation Copy
2.7.2.6. Powerquest PartitionMagic V 8.01
2.7.2.7. Linux RedHat 9.0
2.7.2.8. Symantec Norton Ghost 9.0 (Optional. Important: some functions will be unavailable without burning)
I think someone should contact Adobe.

Yeah, I was thinking something wrong here too. All the agreement BS was shocking actually. I wonder how many takers they have?

I see keygen's on the site. Which means the software is pirated and it is illegal.

I was searching for an Adobe PS CS2 plugin, and that link was there. Than I got to reading about it. Is torrent the same thing? Pay to download software? Never heard of them. But I tend to want a hard copy just in case. That's me.

Sorry for changing the subject somewhat.

No, bit torrents are a way for people to download software without paying for it. It's piracy in its purest form. A torrent is a peer to peer file transfer service that tokenizes the identification of a file and pulls bits and pieces from whatever sources are available based on the DL schedule you set up, and it pieces the file together on your end when it eventually gets everything.

I'm amazed that someone would even cop to doing this, it's immature and just plain illegal.

Rick are you looking to upgrade the Photoshop you have to CS2? CS & CS2 are not much different then the last upgrade Adobe did on the software (I believe 7.0).

I also guess I should have clarified post #6, I was referring to the website Sara provided.
