    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We sent him 4k for snakes and now suddenly he doesnt want to sell to us, and only refunded 2k?

Said he would send the other 2k asap, if he doesnt want to deal with us, then he shouldnt of accepted payments, and we shouldnt have to wait for the other 2k.
 
I tend to agree, A order of 12 Snakes to one alledged breeder with $4,000 Dollars received payment from e-mails confirming the the snakes are sold in addition confirming e-mails admitting to receiving the payments, with proof from paypal and other sources only to get a e-mail specifying that he refuses to do business. This alledged breeder Adam Irwin has only submitted half the payment back of $2,000. I spoke to a number of people today that said they would of loved to have this order , so my question is , If this individual seen the money clear into his bank and was good, Why would he not want repeat business and fulfill his agreements made in the confirming e-mails? If he did not want to fulfill his side of things, there is alot of respected breeders that said they would be happy to fill this shipment where Mr.Irwin failed to provide. The $2,000 Dollar refund should be sent back immed.
 
so, was he just looking for a short term, interest free loan and using whatever critter as bait to get it...or did you do something to pi$$ him off?
Regardless, if he is choosing not to deal with you, you should get your money back immediately
 
UK Reptile Distributors - how do you know so much about what hasn't been posted here?
 
We did nothing to pi$$ him off that I know of, just transactions through paypal took place, and emails, as his snakes where on KS for sale, in which we opted to buy, then suddenly today $2000 back in our paypal and said he would send the other asap.

And a not very nice email to us telling us not to call him again :shrug01:
 
Very tight correspondence, and e-mails. These reptiles in question were a part of this next shipment to the United Kingdom. I will be posting e-mails soon.
 
That is terrible. I think you should definitely get your money back immediately. It is people doing things like this that makes people scared to use the internet classified services, and in the end, all legit businesses suffer. I certainly will never do any business with Adam Irwin in the future, and I hope you get things worked out soon.

i think this is a terrible thing to happen and beleive that u should receive your money back imediately sounds like a lemon deal,it is bad buisness practice to take someones money then not deliver the goods,and only refund half u should get ur money back asap.
 
This man was totally wrong in what he did. He def owes you your money back. I agree its people like this who make it hard to trust people on the interent. I will def not be buying from him . and i wish you the best of luck in getting your money back. he is wrong and will be delt with if not in this lifetime but the next. But he should remember *KARMA* what goes around comes around. Good Luck

There are always two sides to every story, would love to hear the other side. Rick did you e-mail Adam and make him aware of this thread? Also, it would clear the picture up some if you posted all e-mails pertaining to the transaction in question, in order, and in their entirety.
 
Are Rick and Donna somehow affiliated? You are talking about the same deal, right?
The way Rick opens his first post with "I tend to agree" made it sound like he was providing commentary on the original post...but the rest of it says he was involved in a transaction with Mr Irwin.

Communication with Adam was done VIA e-mail on proceeding activity in general. He should of been made very aware by VIA e-mail not only from me, but kingsnake management, and paypal already. We just want this sorted out peacefully however in his last e-mail he replied that he does not want any communication. Is there two sides of every story? Yes there is and I would love to have the communication that your asking for. It would be a good thing in my eyes. Regarding the first time posters, well to be honest many members snakes are at stake here ( In which their hard earned money was sent to Adam) in which is looking to be sorted by a true respected breeder sometime tonight. Members from another website talk and fauna was spoke about in the open regarding this post. Do you expect any difference when friends of friends talk from all over two Countries and that never utilized the BOI before? If anything expanding Faunas membership is a good thing is it not? Again we just want this sorted out diplomatically and no hard feelings like was sent in Adams e-mail. If we can do this peacefully, I would personally love for Fauna to delete it all.
 
In regards to the proof in farther e-mails that will clear this up, by all means I plan to not only to post these, I also plan to post the snakes photos in question on links. However to make all this fair on Mr. Adam Irwin who really did not strike me as a bad guy at first, I would like to give him a chance to respond either with a positive resolution or not. If we can sort it out peacefully, then I do feel there really is no reason to cause the harm these e-mails may have on him. It may be a totally big misunderstanding, I am not 100% sure. We just want this cleared up.
 
Because honestly, I do know of someone in his area that has slandered me who resides in his area and the slander had no affiliation with reptiles and has continued to do so over the years in which I have proved many times over that it was slander. I am thinking being that the reptile community is for the most part knowledgable about each other both regarding reptiles and in general, maybe that this other individual has stated something to him that influenced his decision. Mixing the personal disputes with one should not influence the business disputes with others if the dealings were paid in full and agreed upon already. I think this is what happened here, not sure.

I would like to have Adam come and say a few things and see where this goes, Rick is right if its settled without incident then that would be great, but if Adam just needed a quick loan thats the wrong way to get "free" money. But ill sit back and wait for Adams reply.
