New house in Al~ offer was accepted!!!

Well~ I still haven't gotten this house sold~ so I could be in a lot of trouble. We found the new place we wanted in Alabama.....made an offer and he accepted!

It's beautiful! 4500 sq ft house on 25 acres! Pond and fenced pastures. Three garages~ one is seperated in back and perfect for the rats! We asked for his tractor with "bush-hog" and his dining room table (ours needed to be replaced and his was nice) and he agreed!!!!

No more worrying about nieghbors noticing my rats!!!! And it has the 25 acre! I've ALWAYS wanted to live on some property!! I'm so excited!

I'm gonna get a chicken (or three)
and a goat
and a peacock!! (just because I can!)
and I don't know what else!
and ALL the rats I want!

Now I just gotta sell the house here in So Cal.....or I could be in a bit of trouble with the two mortgages........
But I'm SO EXCITED!!!

You may be in for a bit of culture shock coming from Southern California to Alabama. Nevertheless, the place looks beautiful.

Good deal, Cheryl. I'd buy your house in CA, but its a bit out of my price range.

Yeah~ I'm a little worried about the culture shock ~ and the climate shock myself! But we've lived a lot of places~ I'm sure we'll adapt as needed.

As far as the house here in So Cal~ it's out of my price range too! Hopefully someone will buy it from me and get me out from under this mortgage!

Wow...thats a really nice house and a dream for all those with reptiles. I can't wait until I own a house someday so that I can set it up with reotiles everywhere lol. Someday my rocks and retics are going to need a lot of space, so I a few extra bedroom would be great! Congrats! Dan M.

Okay~ I'm here now!
I don't have my household goods yet or my PC yet. I'm in the lobby of the Holiday Inn using the public PC. I think I'd get less strange looks if I were looking at porno pics than I am getting sitting over here looking at pics of snakes and lizards! LOL! I'll get my PC set up later this week I hope but I won't be able to do as much~ we are forced to Satelite Internet and hubby tells me the downloads will be restricted (he is really mad about it~ but we don't seem to have a choice).

The house in CA is still be a problem. It's "sold" BUT.......there is always a BUT isn't there? It's a long story I don't feel like going into. Hopefully it will be resolved by the end of the week and I won't have to pay them TOO much just to take the house away from me!

I've been out to the new property several times. The dogs and the cornsnakes are out there now. It's beautiful! More "out there" than I realized....and more neighbors than I would have thought for how far "out there" it is (Wes thought I lived in Egypt before! LOL!) But the neighbors are not too close. Have not met any of the them yet~ hope they are nice people like my last neighbors were.

I'll take pics when I get in and settled. I may be able to get into chat tonight....but I don't know. I have to share this lobby PC with the entire hotel and I have to be up early for my household goods delivery. Though.....I honestly don't see how they are gonna get that monster big Truck down my little bitty LONG gravel drive way.....and if he gets it down there.....how the hell is he gonna get it OUT again!!!!
