Cat & Mouse

Since feeding time is usually just as exciting for my cats as it is for my rosies, I find that distracting them with a mouse keeps them out of my hair until I'm finished.
Here are some pics.
BTW - this was an F/T mouse, not a live one.

My dog is afraid of my feeders. He'll sniff them, then stare, then back away...

I feed live though.

My min pin sugar baby used to love feeding time. She would stand on her hind legs and follow the sound of the rodents. That dog would walk on her hind legs upright to see what was going on in the snake tubs.

One day I left the feeders in tubs on the floor of my snake room, I had gone into the house to get papers towels for cage cleaning, walked by the snake room and said to my daughter "look Amber, isn't that cute she's guarding the feeders" She stopped looked in and said "uh mom, she's not guarding them, she eating them"!!! Needless to say, she ate and or dismembered 26 fuzzy rats! And oh my the gas that dog had well....ewww was an understatement.
