Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm interested in hearing from anybody that has been in contact with this person about his ad, or anybody that has sold to him. I'm not interested in purchasing; but, am hoping to dispel some concerns I have regarding this account/ad. I'm not saying that he isn't legit (or that he is)...just trying to sort out a few things.

I emailed him almost immediately after his ad was posted about a local pick up and never heard back. Prices seem to good to be true. For someone who "has to sell fast" it seems like something may be up. Hopefully someone can post on here who has put a hold on one of these snakes and shed some light.

I was in contact with him about a few snakes up untill I mentioned I would only pay via paypal, no paypal he only wants certified check as he does not have a paypal account. I ran, 600 for a breedable pastel het ghost virgin...
 
Ive been talking to him all day yesterday and I still havent recieved an address where to send my MO. He seems legit, has pics of all the animals I inquired about. Never could get ahold of any of his references tho. Anyone actually complete a deal with him?

Those are some well known names. I have a hard time seeing this being a legit ad. If you do manage to purchase from him Robert let us know how it goes. Seems to be too good to be true.
 
Thats what im thinking and he still hasnt got ahold of me so I think im gonna bail out on him. Sorry, but I dont have the $500 to take a chance and be the first. If anyone wants I can post all the emails that took place between me and him. See if anything looks fishy.

Its a dam shame cuz thats a really sexy mojobee. And I was hoping I could catch a break and get a head start into serious breeding. Oh well, it does sound to good to be true. I just have to start off slow with all these hets.

I hate getting my hopes up :(
 
ugh I sent a lot of dough for all the 08 females except the normals, I'm waiting on a call from him tonight but I must admit i'm nervous. My payment won't arrive till tomorrow or friday so if needed I can put a stop payment on the check.
 
Anybody who's good shouldn't have a problem makin you feel comfy... Check in with him.. Get shots of your kids to expect and any info... Full name, copy of DL... I've done this before to ease minds???
 
^when in question i dont think a new pic with there drivers license laying beside/on the animal in question as well as some other reference in the pic is too much to ask at all when dealing with higher end animals from an unknown source...99.9 percent of the scammers seem to fit into one or both categories 1. never had the animals to begin with 2. useing fake names/adress...so the pic idea mentioned dispells those 2 biggies right there...just my thoughts, also could somone post a link to the thread? thx
 
He just told me to send payments to his fiances house Ashley Ronney in Pass Christian, MS.

Thats when I bailed.

He's deleted all pictures, prices, etc in the ad labeling "SOLD". Anyone know who purchased the animals? I'd like to see if they have been able to keep in touch with him, etc.

After seeing the pictures and his desire for local pickup, I decided to send Jerry an email inquiring about his female bee. This was when there were only a couple of views on the ad and he had no pictures, weights, or prices. He had no idea what he wanted to sell the bee for, saying he'd seen spiders of similar size go for $1000-2000. Based on this, I knew I could not afford the animal (I wasnt expecting her to be breeding size) and I told him that due to the fact she may breed this season for someone, I'd bet he could price her at at least $2000 and I wished him luck on the sale.

I was surprised to see that the following day she was only priced at $1200, and the rest of the snakes priced much below market value. I like to try and give the benefit of the doubt because he needed to move them, but a little red flag raised for me aswell.

I'd like to hear from someone whose actually made a payment on an animal before jumping to conclusions, but negleting to respond to local pick-up offers and having these special payment needs definietly smells fishy. I hope the best for whoever has paid him.

I too like to give them the benefit of the doubt and he does stay in good communication and is very nice. But I cant afford to ignore that lil red flag.

Well he toldme he would be willing to wait til he completed a transactionso I can get a reference from him. Sounds like a real nice guy. Like I said before we'll see next week after he ships those who have paid.

And to answer ur question Jeff Im waiting for the 2010 mojobee.
