Talking Feeder termites. No, i'm not crazy

Why would you willingly bring termites into your home? Because first, they only eat rotting wood not dry wood; and they are the perfect thing to perk-up your bored herp. Termites are perfect for dart frogs, baby chameleons, baby bearded dragons, and any other insect eating reptile. But, they are not just for babies. I have seen full grown Parson's chameleons go nuts for them, and i have a juvie frilled dragon that loves them.

Prices are by weight since it is a pain to count the little buggers:
1/2 oz. (roughly 1000) = $10.00

shipping is $3.00

Please let me know if you are interested. i have farms full of the little guys. Thanks for looking.

How do you keep them contained? I'd be worried that they'd get out.

containing termites

it's not very hard to contain them. you can keep them in an old screw top peanut butter jar. they can't climb glass or plastic. they only eat rotting wood not dry wood. and they will dehydrate after about 15 minutes out in the open.

How do you handle them to feed them without squishing them?

Have you had any success (or know anyone who has had any success) in getting leopard geckos to eat them?

i just shake them out into a plastic bag and then dust them with calcium powder just like i would crickets. i have gotten geckos to eat them before, but they must be in a feeding bowl. i find that some creatures have a hard time finding them, especially if u have a naturally planted cage.
