As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.

Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

The Welcome Room & New Member Intros How about a place for new members to come on in, make an introduction, and meet the regulars? Talk about yourself or anything else that comes to mind, just to break the ice. Or just pull up a chair and make yourself at home for a spell.

Hey guys. My name is Charles and I'm from Texas. My first and only reptile pet is a Hermann's tortoise hatchling which I received just 3 days ago. The tortoise is doing really well, eating and climbing all over the place in his/her enclosure.

This site was really helpful to me for determining a good breeder and providing info on proper care. Hopefully I can get more into the reptile hobby!
