    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

After reading several threads on the Board Of Inquiry I decided to purchase a rack system from Casey at Natures Spirit Reptiles/Snake Shacks.

I received my rack quickly and the transaction was positive.

This was my first purchase of a rack and my second purchase from someone I located on Fauna.

This is a great resource for someone new to reptiles

I just picked up my rack this morning from NSR, and Casey gave me a tour of the workshop and their snake rooms :) Not only do they make good racks, but their animals are wellfed, wellkept, and visibly healthy, and I left with a snake to put in the new rack also!

I received my incubator from Natures Spirit this morning and it looks great. I ordered the one with the Helix DBS-1000 thermostat. It's a really nice design and looks very well put together. Casey told me he could have it ready to ship in 7-10 days (which seemed very quick) and he shipped it in 5 days! I really appreciated the quick turnaround since I have a few snakes that look like they're ready to drop eggs any day

I can't wait to put it to good use...thanks Casey!
 
I just got back from picking up my racks from Casey. These things are AWESOME...great product...but beyond that he is a genuinely great guy. He took me into his home and showed me his snakes...which I think is a very generous thing (BTW, he has some of the most BEAUTIFUL boas I have EVER seen first hand). We talked for over an hour...loaded up my racks...he mentioned he also had a rack that was new, but got damaged in shipping and was repaired and sold it to me for a GREAT price.

I mentioned that I was headed to a gas station...because I had run out of wiper fluid on the way there (if you have ever driven in the midwest in winter...you will understand)...he went in his garage and found a partial bottle for me...I cannot say enough about him.

I am completely impressed with the entire transaction and am looking forward to ordering more racks from him as soon as I can.

Incubator Question For Chris Raden.

I am thinking about buying one of their incubators for leopard gecko eggs. The big digital Helix PVC one. Or, maybe the digital hovabator. Which one did you buy and how has it worked out so far? Thank You! Which one would the rest of you buy from them? I want to maintain the same temperature with wildly fluctuating room temperatures.
 
Derek, did you get the impression Casey is proud of his reptiles? LOL And for good cause. I thought it was worth putting a few extra hours on my drive home from Indiana.

Bruce, I purchased the large model with the digital Helix thermostat. I'm still waiting on my woma to drop her clutch (could be today or tomorrow) so I haven't incubated anything in it yet. However, I've had it set up since I received it and it's been holding perfect temps.

I'm not sure what you mean by digital hovabator. I know Casey also offers the incubator with a wafer/digital Love thermostat combination. That model is probably fine too but I've used Helix products before so I decided to go with the Helix model.

It's a nice unit and it would definitely hold a lot of gecko eggs. Email Casey if you have any questions or concerns. He's quick to respond to email and he was very helpful when I was trying to make a decision on which incubator to go with.

That is exactly the model I had pretty much decided on, even before this thread was started. I am glad to see that it works as advertised and that you are also using it for expensive stuff. Helix is wonderful. I have had the best experience with those thermostats. Thanks Much!
 
We just received our incubator from Casey and Darla Hulse. We are very pleased with it. It is attractive and well-made with a nice clear door, and very quiet. Anyone needing an incubator should consider one of these. It arrived well-packed, and was even shipped ahead of schedule. We are looking forward to using it this coming season. We would definitely do business with the Hulses again, and would recommend them to others.

Katrina...he was DEFINITELY proud...and with very good reason. I can't wait until some of his clutches start hatching this year...I will have to make the drive back for some more racks...and something to put in them as well!!

I believe I got to see the very incubator that Isis received (could be wrong...but I know Casey was in the middle of putting three of them together when I was there...even got to see one of the original prototypes...it's been holding temp since it was built.

Very exceptional products...Casey DEFINITELY has made me a lifelong customer.
 
Great Racks

Just picked up our 4th rack from Casey yesterday everything went great,racks are awsome, can't go wrong getting a rack from Casey. I urge everybody to get a rack from Casey you wont be disapointed. Keep up with the great work Casey, talk to you soon.

Nature's Spirit should make cages...

Everyone seems VERY happy with their incubators, and racks from Nature's Spirit. I'm sure it's been mentioned to them before, but I'll say it...I think they should make cages. With their reputation, they would have a VERY loyal following of return customers.

Heck, I'd buy cages from them based on the abundance of positive comments I've read on the BOI.

Keep up the good work Casey!! ;)

Great People

Casey and Darla are great people. First met them at the taylor expo in michigan. Purchased a few beardies from them. also sold them some. couldnt be happier with the results. I email them throughout the year, every year inquiring about availability. if casey doesnt have what im looking for, he always lets me know of some where i can get it. Great people. I just bought and received the large incubator with the Helix Thermostat option @ $400.00 shipped. I have tested it, and I am about to order another one of the same.
 
3-hole 41 qt. rack

I just picked up my second Snake Shack earlier today. I am extremely pleased with both the product and the producer. Great people making great racks. There just aren't words to express how pleased I am. I also ordered crickets for my geckos. I have purchased racks, a snake, and crix.....might have to get into beardies, too....LOL

I cannot believe how many people are impressed with these racks. I think they suck, I purchased 2 of them at first. I finally had some baby chondros hatch. and one of my babies got out because the tub shelf is not even, the back slopes downward to give a bigger gap in the back, then I emailed them to let them know and they gave no remidy for my situation, I then had 2 racks and wanted a third one to make my stack complete and the third rack is wider then the first 2 so they look like crap and do not sit flush with my other cages, and then I had a baby escape from a different rack.
This is why I started building racks myself because I think his stink.
