July 2022 Hatch, feeding well and a curious little tegu like them all. These are one of the few animals that come towards me when photoing. They are so intelligent: when they know you are not a threat they are very easy to handle. Growing one up is so rewarding, and they truly make great pets for those prepared for a larger sized lizard (these are my favorites lizards so I am a little partial )
