    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So yeah . . . you guys have a great thing going here. I just wish I had found it in March instead of today!

I found Mr. Sanchez on Kingsnake.com. I began emailing him in regards to a pair of adult Burmese Pythons. After several emails I decided I would take the Female for $200 shipped. In an email he stated that he only accepted money orders or cashier's check. This immediately sent up red flags for me. I did some google searches on both his name and his business and found nothing. I posted a question on the Kingsnake.com forum asking if anyone had any dealings with him. This post was immediately removed as I guess it volated their Terms of Use. Without any information saying he was good or bad I decided I would go ahead and give him a try. Still a bit leary I called him and requested that he call me back. I explained that I was a bit nervous and that by talking to him I might be more at ease. He did call me back and he seemed knowledgeable and genuine. A nice guy in fact. I asked him if he would take paypal or a credit card. He said he would not as he had been "scammed" too many times before. I could understand that so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and sent a cashier's check via Certified Mail. The check was cashed and he emailed me for a ship date. We decided on a day, I took off work for it and received no snake. I emailed him trying to find out what happened. To this day I have received no more communication from him. At first I thought that maybe something happened to him or a family member. It has been several weeks now and after scanning through this forum I am positive that I've been had. Included below are copies of my correspondence.


I sent the first message via Kingsnake's contact page so that message was copied from his repy message - Messages are in reverse order with the most recent at the top.

I'm sorry he ripped you off.....I'm not certain, but have you contacted your bank to see if there is anything they can do with the cashiers check?

I would file a complaint at KS as well..if enough people complain, maybe hell get banned from there too....

Actually my wife works at the bank . . . once cashed there's nothing that can be done (we did get some info on him from the back of the check). Thanks for the info! I will definitely use this info when I contact the local police etc.

Posting a photo of his house won't stop a scammer like that. He posted that to let him know he can be found. The guy is an idiot and will not stop until someone stops him..Legally I mean LOL..

I guess when Terry had to repay Paypal/Visa for trying to stiff me, he changed his policy. This guy is such a piece of work. He needs to be in jail. They say "Karma kills" and "What goes around, comes around". When it comes around for him, it will probably be like being broadsided by a semi.

All that said, I am sorry for your loss and hope you find a way to recover your money and nail Terry Sanchez to the wall.

I bought a baby boa from terry not the adult I figured it would be. I think it might be a 05 and not a 02. Anyway it came to me in bad packaging and it had mites. I put $600 in vet bills into this snake and it died. I never had a albino and wanted to start out with a bigger adult. Now seeing them listed I spent way to much for a small snake. I can't afford another for a few year. Terry seems nice on the phone and in emails but after I got the animal he never was reachable. anyway I hope u get ur money
 
Call the police dept. out here. Let them know what he's done, that it isn't the first or second or tenth time, maybe print out one or two of these threads about him but definately provide links to them, and see if they'll do anything for you.

allowed this guy to continue to post all this time? You say they removed a post asking about scott why don't they think maybe there something shady about the fella. I can't believe that they never look at this board, and just turn a blind eye to anyone on their board asking about a payed classified members reputation. Has no one ever complained to kingsnake about him?

Oh I am sure that some have filed complaints, but KS will only act on complaints that came from those people who directly did business with that guy through an ad placed on their site. They more or less don't listen to 3rd party complaints or bad dealings through other websites because that's just hearsay.

I know some of the complants heard here happened on kingsnake ads, perhaps more people will document their problems when they happen, and kingsnake will have the necessary info they need to monitor the classified members.

What really irks me about kingsnake's behavior is that even though they KNEW that this guy was bad enough to be removed from their site they did not have the foresight to warn anyone who had sent emails to him via their site's email system. They would have had my email address on file as a correspondant of his and could have simply emailed me saying "Hey FYI, we removed this sack of slime from our site". That would have been enough for me to cease all communication with him! Oh well its definitely not their fault but It would have been a MUCH appreciated courtesy.

I did talk to the postmaster general's office regarding mail fraud. They said that since he recieved the payment via mail but nothing was sent back via mail it was not fraud. Although I did have to quickly explain that no snakes were shipped (or were planned to be shipped) through the USPS - I knew that it was illegal and would never have entertained the idea. I'm working with my local/state police to have them contact his local police so that my request might carry a bit more merrit (my cousin is a PA State Police Detective). I'm also going to file the documents to have his website shut down as well as all of his email addresses that he used with me for correspondence as well as that pesky P.O. Box. I have a friend who is a lawyer who's going to get me to a court date in small claims that I'm sure Terrance will be absent from (he has to come to PA since technically the crime occured here). From there I should be able to take out all forms of communication he has for this "business".

At this point I'm sure I'll never see the snake (I actually got an adult female burm from the Hamburg show - gorgeous btw) or the money. After reading all of the posts on here regarding him I'd just be happy to see him do some jail time (estatic actually).

I really appreciate everyone's help and kind words on this board. I only wish I had found this a few months earlier. I do web searches on everyone I deal with and his name just did not come up. Can we get the owner's of this site to do some SEO work (search engine optimization). I'd think with as many times as his name(s) is mentioned here he should be getting a few hits on a google search!
