    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    Is 2 layers of sealant ok for a diy rock structure?

    So I’m making one of those diy rock structures with foam and grout for a leopard gecko I am adopting. I just finished painting on a nontoxic sealant but I only had enough for two layers. Is that enough? I don’t want to have to go out and buy more if I don’t have to in the terrible weather I’ve...

    Bad Guy Petown DIY Acrylic tanks (poor qaulity)

    I wanted to warn people about the "Petown" acrylic tanks as I have had a very bad experience with the seller, and product, and I am now out $130.00 with two horrible tanks that are going to need some serious work to even be useable. DO NOT buy these tanks unless you have low standards and don't...

    Lighting PVC Cages After Market

    What are some good ways to light PVC cages for ball pythons and leopard geckos? I bought the cages eight years ago, so choosing lighting and letting the builders install isn't an option. I'm currently looking at color-switchable LED light strips, so that I can choose between using red and white...

    Bad cage?

    Saw some guy make this youtube.com/watch?v=SnIBIeoHjv4 on youtube. A snake cage out of styro, it seems like it could be a bad idea if the heat lamp touched the styro. But besides that I was curious what other people thought.

    DIY Lightbox

    Here's a nice tutorial for anyone interested in taking photos with the aid of a lightbox. I've seen many tutorials where the finished products are unattractive card board box cut-outs. The following lightbox, however, seem very presentable. (I haven't built this particular lightbox, so I cant...
