• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    My first clutch ever!

    She laid late last night! The clutch is a little smaller than I was hoping for but it was the first clutch for both her and I, so I am happy with 4 healthy eggs.

    I can't tell if she laid them all. I took a picture of her and notice an egg shaped bump in her tummy. She laid one late, and when I felt her belly now it felt almost like 2 eggs together. Felt my male and he had something similar but this felt bigger. Her energy level is fine and her bowel...

    My Turn! (AKA, it's about time!)

    Sheesh! Last year, I had babies by now! Bitey (Iodine) finally laid her eggs today! I felt five or six eggs at most all the times I palpated her, and she gave me seven pearly whites instead! I honestly don't know how she fit all those in there! :D All the eggs look nice and red with lots...

    Make sure your gravid females are warm enough...

    ...because, if they're kept cooler, you may have to wait 48 DAYS until the eggs are laid!!! Sorry for the blurry picture, there. She wasn't happy at my intrusion, so I didn't want to bother her too much...and my camera was having trouble figuring out where to focus...and I was too excited...
