    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

“Sunset Hypo” scammer strikes again

Wanda and Joe Patterson AKA “Sunset Hypo” have done it again. They told me they had 2 large proven Brazilian females with the very hard to find yellow heads available. They were supposedly bred to Hypo redfoot males and had proven themselves last year. When I asked for pics they said I could see them on Kingsnake.com ad. I arranged to pick them up on my way back from vacation. When I met them at a McDonalds in Hampton it was neat 100 degrees and my a/c in the van was not working well. I was also pulling a car trailer and it was blocking the parking lot. I grabbed the torts and paid and took off. When I arrived home and inspected the torts they were females however, not Brazilians but Bolivians. I have a breeding group of Bolivians. I wanted Brazilians. When I notified them of the error they became insulting and abusive in their Email. Would not provide the Brazilians I asked for. I have all emails back and forth and can prove that these are Bolivians but they insist they are a very hard to find Nortern variety of Brazilians. They have a solid black plastron. They are definitely crooked as heck. Frank Dombrowski
 
Can you please post the ad and the emails proving the incorrect animal was sold to you. In general I suggest that if you are given an opportunity to inspect an animal 'in person' you should take the time to carefully do so as looking at the animals and then paying for them and taking them could be deemed acceptance of them by the seller unless your issue cannot be visually discerned..
Also unless the name of their company is Sunset Hypo, their name should be in the title.
