Im not sure whats the big deal, or the need to belittle someones animal is here. I know Tim personally, I have seen all his animals in person, and you will not find a more honest, straight forward breeder around in my opinion. I was on the phone with him when this clutch hatched, he has a High White Mojave Pied for sale on here right now from the same clutch, it was a 7 eggs clutch from Mojave Het Pied X Het Pied, the odds would be about correct in this case. I personally have never seen a normal Mojave with "Pied-white" sides that come up on the sides of the animal like this animal does, granted the pattern isn't as distorted as much as the medium/low white Pied that Serpents Den has posted pics of before, but how many total Mojave Pieds have been produced? How many low/no white Pieds have been produced? Enough to truly determine what every form of Mojave Pied will look like? I doubt it. I have huge problem with people trying to sale animals for loads of money saying they are something they aren't, and wouldn't have no problem bashing Tim if he did so!! Tim has the animal listed as a Low White Mojave Pied, but he also has a guarantee stating that if the animals doesn't prove out to be what he said it is then you will get your money back and you can keep the animal! So if everyone is so certain its not a Mojave Pied, then worst case scenario is you would get a smoking Mojave for free, not sure I know of many people who would turn that down. Tim has been breeding for 20+ years, this is how Tim makes his living, I don't think he is willing to jeopardize everything he has for $5,000, maybe the only issue here is that he is not selling it for $10,000? Again, personally I don't see the need to start flaming someone who is GUARANTEEING the animal to be what he says it is, I see people selling misrepresented animals on many classifieds on a daily basis, and if Im not interested in the animal or don't trust the seller then I go to another ad, and I think everyone would be alot better off if we just put our efforts into stopping these politicians and the HSUS from trying to take away the rights for us to keep the animals we love than bashing fellow breeders who have guarantees to back up what they sale!
P.S. Look for Tims name on the BOI here on Fauna, a great tool for researching breeders before making purchases, and I challenge anyone to find a bad word about Tim Lane, and after 20+ years and hundreds of customers I would say thats a pretty outstanding job to say the least.
