    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

1.0 Pilbara Rock Monitor (Varanus pilbarensis) available. This is the last of my Pilbara Rock Monitors: a large, beautiful spare male. Originally produced by Chris Murray. He is aprox. >5-6/yrs old. Slamming 1" dusted crickets, as well as taking frozen thawed CBB lizards and pinky mice. This is a true red V. pilbarensis with beautiful dark red to orange contrast. Behaves just as a monitor should: quick, prey-motivated and testy. He would make an excellent breeder and those that intend to reproduce this species will be prioritized. Not many Pilbara Rock Monitors around these days - which is a shame.

This male is kept hot, with 24" of diggable sandy loam substrate, topped with leaf litter and a Retes stack. Feed frequently and he is solid as, well, a rock. He does indeed have some minor imperfections: a few tips of his digits are missing, as well as slight scarring on the eyelids, presumably due to rubbing his face on enclosure decor. Neither bother him nor will impede reproductive success. He is a very tractable lizard that will destroy food and any unfortunate soul that winds up in his enclosure. The only reason for selling is to make space for larger Varanids. I simply prefer the larger species over dwarves.

Pictures are recent and taken TODAY (9/9). I have a feeding video also filmed this evening that may be e-mailed if interested.

SOLD. anywhere in the continental USA. No trades.

Please PM or e-mail [email protected] for more information or if interested in purchasing.
