1.1 adult Testudo marginata (Marginated tortoises) from Albania.
These are jet black, text-book looking marginata with locality data.
Imported by me, unrelated to any other of the species in the USA and to my knowledge they are the only known ones here from Albania.
I’m only parting with this one pair and no others from this Albanian group.
The male is a fantastic, typical breeder for this species and the female lays a typical 4 clutches per season. They brumate naturally here from early December until February or March.
A fantastic, cold hardy, severely underrated species.
This pair is robust, rock solid and a joy to work with.
I’m looking to ship early next week and will not be shipping for an extended amount of time after that, so, if interested, please act fast.
