In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have an unrelated, 2+ year old adult virgin pair of Gargoyle geckos (R. auriculatus) for sale or trade. Both are late 2007 hatches and were raised by me from 8 week old, 4.5 gram hatchlings. They are ready to breed NOW!

Asking $350 for the pair shipped UPS-NDA (lower 48 states).

I am willing to separate and sell or trade the male separately ($160+ plus shipping). Will not sell the female separately.
As a hobbiest/breeder, the primary motivation for making this posting is to diversify my bloodlines (I have several others breeding).

Male: Reticulated (black/white to brown/black coloration). Bred by the BGSU Herpetology Lab. (~Nov. 2007)
35 grams. Eats 1-part CGD and an occasional B. dubia (Rarely though, he usually just watches them run around.)

Great structure!

Female: Chevron pattern. Bred by Kim Hudak (hatched 12/2007). 45 grams. 1-part CGD diet. She laid two pairs of duds at the end of last year's breeding season.

Both tails are original, all toes present and accounted for!
Pictures were taken on 3-1-10.

Gecko Trades:
1.1 Unrelated gargoyles; 25 gram minimum weight (show me what you’ve got!).
‘1.0 RED or ORANGE gargoyle (~20+ grams minimum). Striped, chevron or reticulated (I am looking for some color!). Willing to trade even-up (1.1 for 1.0) for the “right” male!
Hatchling R. leachianus or R. chahoua. (Locale specific preferred)
Australian Geckos

Other trades considered / WANTED:
Pythons: Antaresia (1.0 Cape York needed, A. childreni, A. maculosus, A. stimsonii),
Woma, Sawu pythons (I have 1.0, looking for 0.2).
Boas: Epicrates spp., BRB, Columbian, Haitains(!); Erycene boas, Locality Rosy Boas
Colubrids: Beauty snakes (Taiwan, Chinese, Cave, etc.)
Other: Female Northern BTS. Female Pyxie frog

Must be CBB. Wild-types ONLY. No ball pyhons. No morphs, mutants, etc.

Sincerely,
Paul E. Turley

If it would not be to much trouble to know if these geckos have ever been together . When you say 2 years +. what does that actually mean ? What are there ages. I am a serious buyer and they look great, JERRY please respond to: [email protected] Also from your photos these look handleable . Are they

The hatch dates (along with the breeder info) are indicated in the post above. These have both been housed alone since I purchased them as 4 to 5 gram hatchlings.

Juvie Gargoyles are generally too aggressive (with each other) and tend to nip and bite each other. If you want intact tails/toes they have to be kept separated. I don't have room for another pair worth of offspring (8-16+ hatchlings...), particularly if they are closely related to others I already have paired up.

These are VERY handleable (is that even a word?). My three boys hold these all the time.
Gargoyles as a rule are generally pretty calm.
Of these two, the female is more mellow. She is content to look around a bit, then sit. The male is a bit like a crested in behavior when he is first picked up. He usually trys to jump a couple times but then calms down.

BTW: Adults can usually be kept together without issue (at least for several weeks to pair them up).

Thank you for your interest.
Sincerely,
Paul E. Turley
