    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Greetings. I rarely post but I have some info that may be of help and I feel the forums have provided me with much info. First of all I believe the original poster (OP) should have responded with more info when he found out what was happening...this he is guilty of. Coincidentally, I was just about to purchase this exact Ackie pair when it was on the LLL reptile website before it was picked up at the Pomona Show recently by the OP. I had an opportunity to ask questions directly with LLL and they guaranteed it was a pair and they were reds. I was told they were kept by an employee and raised from babies, etc. (could post the actual emails if necessary). When I contacted the OP I saw that the original containers from the show had writing stating they were a pair of reds. After consulting with the Ackie experts I know, it was confirmed from the pictures (extra ones I had as well as some from the OP) that one is a high contrast male yellow and the other is a red (80% likely male). Sorry for the long message, but I just wanted to add my 2 cents and suggest there are two problems- 1) the OP not responding/updating this thread (I have no idea IF he would have sold them knowing this info but I hope not) and 2) LLL for false advertising. In conclusion, I do believe the animals were returned for a full refund (kudos to LLL for providing a refund despite their policies- I know it is common sense but it is good they did it with minimal hassling). I don't believe the OP was trying to scam anyone and was just caught up in something he did not know what to do (he is very young). Again, it does not make him innocent but just provides a little more info. I also think that Ackies in general are very difficult to buy/sell because of the importance in having direct experience, especially when trying to sex them. If I were to purchase any I would recommend buying from sellers like Jeremy F., Justin B., and/or Robyn. I would be VERY curious to hear how they will be advertised by LLL this time.
