    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone selling one? I don't want a baby. I looking for an adult or atleast 10+ months old. I'm not a breeder so it doesn't have to be proven or even be a true giant,even one that is a normal that got bigger then average is what I like. Let me know what you got.

The young albino male hatched around July 5th, 2009, and the jungle male hatched around October 10th, 2009. The albino male weighs 55 grams and the jungle male weighs 60 grams. They haven't begun to "broaden" out yet (meaning their heads are still very much sub-adultish rather than broad like an adult male) so these guys definitely have more growing to do.

Their father is a jungle albino giant that my cousin purchased for me at the White Plains Reptile Show in New York in September, 2007. Outside of the breeding season he maxed out at 88 grams, and I'm sure he would've maxed out at a higher weight if he ate more (he's just one of those guys who doesn't like to gorge himself, unlike some of my other geckos, so he always stays pretty lean). The female giant eclipse I purchased from Paul Allen of Bright Albino at the Atlanta Reptile Show in Georgia in January, 2009. She maxed out at 75 grams.

Here's a zip file containing photos of father and sons and a spreadsheet of all their weights. Their father is about 9.5" long, but only because the tip of his tail was nipped as a hatchling. If you want, you can graph their weights to see what their growth curve is, or you can see how egg laying affects the weight of a female. It's pretty neat stuff.

They're both around 9" now. It's hard to tell that in the photos I gave you, but asking three guys to sit still for a nice photo is impossible, lol!

EDIT: Here, I took some new photos for you with a measuring tape so you have a good idea how long they are. Keep in mind that the geckos are hard to line up straight, so the lengths aren't exact.
