100% Het Hypo Cherryhead X Northern Red-foot hatchlings direct from the breeder. Healthy, active and growing fast. Eating a variety of healthy greens / weeds and fruit. Raised in closed chambers at 80-85% humidity to promote smooth growth. Soaks given daily since hatching to ensure adequate hydration.
I purchased the Cherryhead mothers from Jeremy Thompson of Kinixys Cooperative. He had them paired with his male Hypo Red-foot and these hatchlings are the result of those pairings.
These hatchlings have intense coloration and fantastic coverage on head and forelimbs. Some have more neck colors and brighter color on the carapace / plastron. Most have started to marble but it is only in the beginning stages as of yet.

The next to last picture in the listing shows an older sibling to these ones, I have every expectation that these hatchlings will continue to develop similarly in intensity and marbling. The last picture shows the cherryhead mothers. I've been very impressed with these hets, they are hets that don't just look like a normal. Hets that are stunners in their own right thanks to the combination of hypo and cherryhead genes. I do not incubate for gender.
I purchased the mothers for cherry head breeding so although I could pair them with my hypo male in the future, I don’t plan to at this time. Quite a few of these hets have hatched and will be listed over the next few months but once they’re gone there won’t be more coming.
I’ve taken photos under various lighting conditions and cameras to try to capture the color as accurately as possible. The flash of my main camera can wash the color out a bit but the cell phone / lower quality shots are a better representation of the color.
Caresheet / diet info comes with each tortoise to keep them on the right track. For the best results have an appropriate enclosure ready and running before setting up a delivery.
