    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

whats up with that? Thats alittle excesive don't you guys think? 2 full minutes inbetween posts? I know its to cut down on spamming but thats along damn time inbetween making a post! I don't like it......who's the admin so I can write and bitch! ;)
 
I think it's a good idea, not only for spamming but for flaming, gives everyone a minute or two to calm down.
Of course, you are exceptional, you have tons of posts at your site that are:
thought provoking
sexy
psychotic
or all 3 together, so perhaps you should have different standards than us regular peeps.
I wouldn't bitch at the admins here too hard, this little forum is a gift to us and could just be taken away, then I would have to tell your missus to tie you up and do some serious discipline.....
 
Also..........

I am not sure if this is why Rich does it but it also helps speed up the site. It gives a poster a break from posting and the server. This is a large site and needs it. If everyone could post every 30 seconds you would see this board drag. 120 is not that bad..........
 
dont worry lucille, I won't bitch to the admin about it, I was being sarcastic ;) I do find it very annoying though.....as far as it helping out on the server to put space inbetween posts I can understand that but its still set to high. I go to a forum with about 150-200 thousand members and they are on a 30 second inbetween. They must not be on a dedicated server here if they can't handle less than every 2 minutes
 
I believe he does but not just for this site. He has like 4 other boards and a classified on the server.
