I've decided to sell this well started, smooth, beautiful, extra dark mixed genetics leopard tortoise hatched by Byron Pitre. It's father is pure SPP, mother is SPB/SPP mix.
About 4.5" SCL, 435g. Raised in a hot humid closed chamber until this Speing, then I moved it outside full time (as long as night temps were over 70°F). Eats everything I offer, raised on weeds and grass with a dusting of calcium powder once a week. Soaked daily until 1 year old. It self soaks several times a day in the large water dish now. Will likely top out around 35lbs as an adult.
This young leo is significantly darker than the others, it had the double dot pattern in many of its scutes as a baby, but the middles have darkened since. It may get lighter growth later. It has cool black marbling on its neck.
I'm asking $500 plus shipping, in contiguous USA. Overnight shipping should run between $50 and $75 depending on your location relative to me (central AR).
