    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am posting these beautiful Black Pines for my friend, since I already have an account, and it's time sensitive. You can call or text me at 405-826-2497

This is 2.1 Black Pine snakes, one of the males is not pictured. Parents are almost Jet Black. Must get these shipped before Nov 5 before they become protected. Eating live and thawed mice. This line is very tame and adults rarely even hiss. Asking $900 for the reverse Trio or Best Offer. CB 2014

Personally I'd rather pay $900 for some nice black pines than $900 for some gummy color phase ball python. The market will eventually set the price.

Possibly agree especially on the pet rock part BUT what the heck are you going to be able to do with them besides sell in state in 3 days time?
TBH nice looking animals but .....

I'm confused as to why it's such a problem after they are protected? The indigos have been protected and there are a lot of those on here. Also being protected shouldn't make the price go up

Generally speaking once an animal receives USFW protection its numbers dwindle greatly as people who have them in captivity sell them off not wanting to deal with the red tape and permit system our government enacts in its "protection efforts".
Over time the price inevitably increases in a supply and demand type of market.
Indigos are found commonly on classifieds and honestly in certain areas they are commonly found in the wild but they are still generally over $1000. Once again, the product of the government permit system.

It's not really going to be an issue if you don't mind waiting for Cites permits for crossing state lines. The permit is $100 . I have already been in touch with usfw it will be the same process as the Eastern Indigo.

"Black pinesnakes acquired before the effective final listing date (November 5, 2015) may be legally held and bred in captivity as long as laws regarding this activity within the State in which they are held are not violated. This would include snakes acquired pre-listing by pet owners, researchers, and zoological institutions. Future sale of captive-bred black pinesnakes, born from pre-listing acquired parents, within their State of their origin would be regulated by applicable laws of that State. If individuals outside the snake’s State of origin wish to purchase captive-bred snakes, they would have to first acquire a 10(a)(1)(A) Interstate Commerce permit from the USFWS (website: http://www.fws.gov/forms/3-200-55.pdf). Information about the intended purpose of purchasing a black pinesnake is required because using federally threatened species as pets is not consistent with the purposes of the Endangered Species Act, which is intended to support the conservation of species and recovery of wild populations. However, an animal with threatened species status may be legally kept in captivity if it is captive-bred and used for educational and/or breeding purposes consistent with the aforementioned intent of the Act. Through the permit process, we are able to track and monitor the trade in captive-bred listed species" If you have any other questions, you can email Connie Dickard at [email protected]

Please take the discussion about legality to the discussion forums or to PMs. Thank you.
