Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

For Sale is a 2.5 year old Mata Mata turtle. Purchased at the 2016 Spring NARBC Show in Tinley Park as a hatchling. This turtle has been living in a 45 gallon cube with sand bottom and a Fluval canister filter. I use RO water and the tank is kept at 85 degrees with 12 in of water in it. The Mata Mata is eating live Rosey Reds or Frozen Thawed Silversides or Flat Heads fed by Tongs. That’s right, a Mata Mata that is Tong feedable. The turtle has been vet checked by Chicago Exotics Animal Hospital in Skokie. I am asking $275; for another $50 I will include a Zoo Med Turtle tub used previously to house the Mata Mata. I am willing to meet with someone up to 1.5 hours from Chicago or will be at the October ‘18 NARBC Tinley Park for an exchange.
