    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We are looking for a good home for 2 of our birds, Gabby and Zach, Green Wing Macaws. They are housed separate and have never been a breeding pair. Zach is 14 and Gabby is 15. At one point, both were very tame and lovable birds. However, as my mother's arthritis became worse, she handled them less and now they ARE nippy and she can no longer handle them and risk a bite. They would come with their California cages which are the largest size made (not stainless steel though) and a human can stand in them and stretch out. Both are healthy. Gabby does need to be fed Harrisons as she does have food allergies. They talk, they scream, they sing...they have been in a flock/family environment their whole lives but it is no longer fair for them to never get out of the cage time.

I believe with a patient person willing to take a bite or two, they would be right back to the silly love bugs they were once. My mother simply can't take a bite and I am just not willing.
Price is negotiable and we will be very picky about any home they go to, simply because of a bad home a foster dog of ours went to. People can be stupid and we'd rather see our birds cage bound then with someone who will abuse them...
please email me for details, [email protected] and ignore any email that shows in my signature line. I haven't used my account here in a long time and can't remember how to change it.
We are located in York PA and will NOT ship the birds.
