• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I have two Adult Male Spotted Turtle available. Downsizing my turtles, these were done as a purchase but i wanted the girls. They are in nice shape and eat mealworms and they love flukers. Ready for your females this spring. Asking 150

For those jr genius's that have to stick their nose in everything to act like they are the wisest of the group posting replies quoting laws they didnt even fully read or comprehend...I carry permits in 2 states and have even had fish and game inspect my nj one and said it looked fine. In md you can own 1 spotted without a permit. Permits are easy to come by for those seeking both.
So i will post it.

breed, attempt to breed, sell, offer for sale, trade, or barter any reptile or amphibian, including color mutations, native to Maryland regardless of where you obtained it.
possess more than 1 individual of each reptile or amphibian from List B. Only 1 individual of each species may have been taken from the wild, except no Wood Turtles, Spotted Turtles, or Diamond-backed Terrapins may be taken from the wild.

myself personally , I hope those "jr geniuses" continue to question protected species ,especially adults , for sale on these classifieds ........... i'd think if what you did in your post , was too much to ask , you obviously don't care about the animals , you do know folks poach and sell turtles don't you , anyone with a clue can recognize the obvious ones , i'm sure plenty of these folks know of people that have been busted for it , one dude I know of plea bargained and plead guilty to selling $400,000 worth of Pennsylvania NA wood turtles , in a 3-4 yr period , and that was just the time frame they caught him for ?????? you could have just put , my permit number is ######### ............. and any of those "jr. geniuses" that were concerned could have just called Maryland wildlife ....... when these "jr. geniuses" call attention to it , if your legit , it's good for your add , if not it's good for the animals , I do know the wildlife guys read these classifieds
 
While i can see the need for some to be questioned this is just what i am talking about. I posted the rules about md since a couple of people posting misinformation about the laws so I personally find you offensive to lump us all in as one. I raised most of mine from babies...bought from this forum as well as places such as Turtle Source and take very good care of them. Would you like the names of them i bought for on this forum so you can post snotty msg's on their profiles as well since i noticed all your posts seem to attack people and judge them while you know NOTHING about them. Love those that hide behind the pc mark or should i call you Michelle Georgette?
