    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

These snakes should be pretty easy to sex visually. Males will have obvious spurs on either side of the cloaca while females will not. If you have a female (or two), is there any way you would consider shipping? I am all the way out in Maryland.

Looking at the spurs will give you a 50% chance of correctly sexing ANY snake species. The only accurate way to sex a snake that big is by probing.
 
I really don't want this to turn into an argument, but sexing methods have very different success rates with different species. I would not use spurs with other species, but with dumerils boas it should be about 90% accurate. Females do not show spurs (unlike other boas and many other species). Probing is generally not recommended for this species as both sexes tend to probe very shallow due to their particularly short tails. The recommended alternative to the spur method would be palpation for these guys, but I personally don't have enough experience to recommend or explain that to a stranger on the internet.
