Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

2 yr old redfoot nesting?

Hi,

This is my frst visit here.

My son has a beautiful 2 yr old Redfoot.

I believe it is female.

Recently she has been digging and burying herself in holes/nests that she makes. She has never done this before.

Questions:
1. IS she old enough to lay eggs?
2. Do I need to change her diet?
3. What else should I be asking?

its totaly normal, a two year old is still way to young to breed. maybe she is a little cold, do you have a shelter for her to go into? redfoots rest most of the day, and love going into shelters. I will post some pics tommorow of my set up and maybe it will give you some ideas. can you disscribe your set up and what you are you feeding?
