We have 1.2 50% diamond 50% coastal carpet pythons available for sale. These were produced by Eugene Bessette of Ophiological Services in 2009. All 3 are eating with gusto on f/z rat pinkies. We hand picked these out of the available offspring in late 2009, while the two females are not top hold back material, they will never the less develop into nice adults.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Eugene Bessette, here's some background on his carpets. His founding stock was received in the early to mid 80s. He bred a few of his coastal females to a male diamond and made 50% diamond, 50% coastal crosses. He then kept breeding the 50/50s together selectively keeping those who, in his opinion, looked the best. All the while tracking who bred with who and recording the dam for each snake held back. Since Gene rotates multiple males through his females it's impossible to make complete pedigree charts. These carpets we have available are the result of almost 30 years of documented lineage breedings.
Unfortunately at this time we only have dam information on one of the females. We're working on digging up the dam information on the male and other female.
We are asking $150 each shipped for the male or female without parental information and $175 shipped for the female with parental information. $275 shipped takes the trio.
