This pairing is packed with amazing genetics going back to 1970's Trooper Walsh animals, giving these critters some spectacular potential.
Here's the run-down (Lineage diagrams available by request):
Lucille (Dam)
Lucille is a beautiful high yellow female, was a red neonate, and is from Eddie Aste's '09 pairing of Shrek x Venus:
Dupree (Sire)
Dupree is from Marc Spataro and Buddy Buschemi's 2009 Kelme x Mandango pairing
The neonates are now 8 months old (hatched 4/16/2014) well-established and feeding regularly on large f/t pinkie mice. They're all shedding normally, sight feeding, and are perfect in every way. Some of them are beginning to show yellow scales after their most recent sheds (pretty prominent on GRR1404 and GRR1407 below).

- Shrek was the product of Lil Bird x Gordon
- Lil Bird has OS HY and Lemontree blood, and her lineage goes back to Trooper Walsh in the 70's
- Gordon has OS HY blood
- Venus was a red neonate, and the product of a Sorong x Biak pairing with Rico Walder
Dupree (Sire)
Dupree is from Marc Spataro and Buddy Buschemi's 2009 Kelme x Mandango pairing
- Mandango (above photo) is from Greg Maxwell’s Calico Jr. X Lemon Girl pairing
- Kelme is a hormonally blue, wild caught female
"This male has blood from the following lines/animals: Kelme, Computer Chondro, Calico Jr., NZP Blood, Al Zulich Blood, Van Meirop blood. Maroon Neonates from this line tend to express melanism & blue."
