    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The first litter of the season was born in March. It was very tiny! Dam was an arabesque produced by Dan Brown. Sire was an ultimate aby produced by Mike Weitzman. This was a first litter for both.

The female looked great until a month in, and then stopped growing. I thought she might be carrying slugs but hoped otherwise. Turns out she had 14 of them in there.

And one extremely deformed still.

Fortunately, there were two live, healthy looking babies in there too.

At least you got one baby with both genes combined!! But ahh man that's terrible at least you had a feeling it was going to be all slugs instead of one giant shell shocker....which I'm sure it still was.

Did you do anything out of the norm that season or do you think the male was just not getting good lock up or enough baby juice in there?

You have very nice boas too!!

Thanks much! And I'm not sure. She was showing interest very early in the season so I paired them earlier than I usually do. He was also at the top of one of the cage stacks where it's quite warm, so maybe he didn't cool enough (I don't control my cooling, the room fluctuates a little with the seasons outside).

Frankly, I'm surprised she went at all and was very happy to have the two babies show, mostly because I bought her as an unproven adult that turned out to be much younger than I thought and because of the (seemingly common) arabesque issues people have mentioned.
