2018 Irian Jaya Carpet Python
This carpet python was hatched in July 2018. The dam is an 87.5% IJ carpet and the sire is an 87.5% IJ jaguar carpet.
The snake is feeding well on frozen/thawed adult mice or weaned rats.
This snake used to be a firecracker; I wrote "nippy" as a note on its feeding card to remind myself to be careful when dealing with it. In the last couple months it has significantly calmed down and no longer requires special attention prior to handling or cleaning the cage. Its parents required tap training.
I'm selling the snake as unsexed. It has shed its skin with indications of hemipenes; that said, I can't guarantee it is male.
