This is a 2022, male, red/orange banded South Georgia Eastern King snake (male #1). Unlike some Eastern king snakes that start life with lots of orange or red bands only to fade to a cream color, the mother of this baby still has orange bands even though she is almost five years of age and just over four feet long! I have included a recent picture of the mother so you can see for yourself. The father of this baby is an unrelated S. Ga. male that had more yellowish/cream colored bands that extended all the way to the belly. I do not have pictures of him, since I sold him last year. This baby was brumated this past winter and is very healthy, eating frozen thawed pinkies with no problems. Only $75.00 plus overnight FedEx shipping.
