• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I have for sale one possibly male Stigmochelys Pardalis Babcocki. It was purchased as a hatchling in November of 2023. It was likely between 4-8 weeks old at that point so likely September-October 2023 hatch date. It was born with 3 claws missing from the front right arm, so it just has one on each end of the foot. This has never appeared to impact it's ability to ambulate or dig.

It is exactly 7" long measuring the carapace and a truly voracious eater with lots of attitude when it comes to food. I am aware of the slight pyramiding and the shell is not perfect. It eats a wide variety of fresh leafy greens as well as hibiscus leaves, mulberry leaves, grape leaves, clover, dandelion leaves and flowers, weeds, and lots of wild grasses. Pellets such as the grassland tortoise Zoo Med variety and Mazuri 5M21 are offered occasionally. it has been kept outside during the warm months and indoors through the late fall and winter.

I am asking $400 plus shipping (buyer pays shipping if necessary) with no interest in trades. Please feel free to ask for pictures/videos if you think you may be seriously interested. I would be happy to provide them as I have plenty. Email me at [email protected] to get my attention.
