In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello,
My friend was vending at the Melville Long Island show today. He had 2 BEL's stolen and 1 het Russo female. Keep your eyes open for a deal that may be too good to be true! If you have any info please feel free to PM me. It really sucks when this happens he was just trying to have fun and spend the day enjoying his hobby instead I'm sure he regrets vending today.
Thanks,
Pam

I will keep my eyes & ears open... That really stinks.
Try checking local pet stores. You never know if they tried to unload them immediately in the area. Also ask around with other vendors & see if anyone was trying to unload them there either for $$$ or trade of other animals... Best of luck to your friend.

That is so sad. I hope they find out who did it and I hope he gets his animals back. People are so pathetic sometimes.

I've posted this on Facebook, sometimes news goes more "viral" there than it does here. I hope he gets a resolution soon.

Thank you! I hope he finds them but they really seem gone at this point! Now I just hope they are being cared for properly. Poor little babies :-(

It seems they had an inkling all along to who took them. The snakes were left in a box outside a local pet store. He is just very happy to have them back with him where they belong! It also helps to have a lot of friends in the business to help you out in a situation like this!

great to hear and he lucky , I confront anyone if I though they stole my snakes then again I don't think I be allowed to leave thhouse for I prolly beat the crap out of the person(s) if i did find them. My snakes are thonl thign i can enjoy anymore it seems.

WOW!!! Thats great for your friend getting them back. It seems like you don't here to many happy endings when something like that happends. Hopefully they were in good health and the kidnapers tended to them properly while in there care. Im glad it work out in your friends favor

In the interest of preventing future thefts... how did the thief lift 3 fairly high profile animals from your friend's table?

I can imagine a few scenarios, I just would like to know more. Most sellers have the acrylic displays and they aren't easy to get into. I've heard of snakes that are bagged already getting lifted when someone turns their back for an instant.

Man' I hope you have good luck finding your snakes.I would get pretty mad if someone stole my snakes after all the time and money I've put in them.I live in east tennessee,so ' the chances of me seeing them would be fairly remote, but any more, you never can tell.good luck
