Is anyone else trying to follow the news about this 3I/ATLAS object in our solar system now? For those who don't know, it sorta seems like a comet, except it comes from deep space and not from within our own solar system. On top of that it is violating every previously developed "rule" based on observations in the past about such objects. So it is a mystery. And then to pour gasoline onto the fire, NASA shuts down right when some of the best images to date would be available, and just clams up tight.
Interesting, to say the least. I guess I would like to see proof that cannot be swept under the rug, or dismissed with a plethora of cockamamie far fetched explanations that are even more preposterous than the proposition that humanity is not alone in the universe. At least before I die, anyway.
So what do you think? A real historical event taking place, or just hogwash designed to take our attention away from something else going on in our own little ball of dirt circling the sun?
