• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello everyone. My name is Carol. I am here because we are getting 5 stinkpot turtles :dancer01: soon and I am trying to find the best place and price. I also am doing lots of research on them. I have a husband. We have been married for 20 years. He is/was my high school sweetheart. Our kids are 19, 17, and 15. Two have special requirements, but we have made the best of it. We have a dog and 2 cats. I have a teaching degree for special education but I will be having several surgeries in the next few months so I am temporarily disabled right now. My hobbies are being on my tablet and reading since I am bed ridden. I will be on the site several times a day, I am sure. :IThankYou
 
Welcome Carol! I'm sure you'll find help here with turtles. Sorry to hear about your health problems and hope they get sorted soon. I was house ridden for 7 weeks with a bad broken leg and I know being bed and house bound is terrible. I ended up getting Amazon book deal so I had plenty to read for $10 a month. Between that, movies and sleeping I survived! Good luck!
