Hello,
I am parting with my 54 pound Aldabra tortoise that I have raised for 6 years. I am very particular about where this tortoise goes and prefer only those who already have the setup to handle the needs of this tortoise. Asking $6500 plus shipping.
Note: If you live in Southern CA I will sell this tortoise to you for $5700. Actually, if you live in any warm climate I will honor this price for you.
It has had about 100'x75' outdoor enclosure for 7months of the year and a heated 20' x 15' winter house. During the warm months it grazes on many different weeds, three or four different kinds of grasses, sedum, cactus pads, mulberry leaves, grape leaves, hibiscus, hollyhocks and roses. During winter months it feeds on moistened hay and moistened dried organic herbs/weeds. I do supplement with Mazuri once a week but always with hay.
I prefer to sell to someone who can pick it up or whom I can meet halfway and deliver here in California. If I ship then it will only be via Delta dash/Southwest cargo.
I have reviews online and can provide references. I guarantee the health of this tortoise and I am very happy and proud of its growth.
I accept money orders or cash in person, sorry no Paypal unless you want to cover the fees.
Please find pictures of this tortoise at http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/dd62/shelledfriends/For_sale_11/.
Thank you.
