• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

Note: This tortoise has been through a few hands before reaching me so I don't have the exact age or bloodline info, sorry. Not the best looking Hermanns but as a male he influences my other male in the pen to get going and he gets the job done :)

Enclosure: Outdoor housing whenever possible is the best way to go. This is a tortoise that loves to graze and is a cold hardy Mediterranean species.

Diet: Feeding on broad leaf weeds, rose flowers, sedum, cactus pads, mulberry leaves, grape leaves, Hibiscus flowers and leaves and Mazuri tortoise pellets.

What to expect: I am happy to answer any questions you have, before and after the transaction is over. The most important thing for me is that my hatchlings get a good home so if you are new to the hobby then I am happy to help you with every aspect of their care.
