Hello, this is my first posting on this site. i am looking for people interested in adopting the baby short tailed pygmy opossums I have. These pets wont get larger than the palm of your hand.
There are 3 girls and 1 boy, all in excellent health. They have the perfect pet temperament, they love the warmth and security of your hand and do not bite. My fiancee and I are spending most of our time interacting and holding them. STOs have prehensile tails and use them to carry nesting material and hang upside down. These guys are solitary pets and can easily be kept in a 20 gallon high aquarium or bird cage. Water bottle drinking is natural to them and have no problems using one. They are well started on Mazuri Insectivore diet and live food.
I am located in West Palm Beach, FL. Zip code 33414. I have never shipped an animal so I would prefer pick up or regional meet, just contact me to arrange plans. Negotiable adoption fee of $150. Feel free to ask any questions, I know these guys aren't incredibly common.
